last KLM flight I took - last year - they did not make that ever so annoying announcement they have made on all the previous KLM flights to AMS and CPT that I have been on "The luggage bins on this ancient 777 are too heavy for our overworked, underpaid and not too friendly flight attendants, so please assist them by closing your overhead bins when they are full." Why I paid you to do that safety task yourselves!
