In 2005 my mom and I were on a flight to Mauritius (MRU) and I was occupying her seat for a while.  The passengers sitting next to me were a honeymoon couple who had never been to Mauritius before.  They asked me if Air Mauritius has any domestic flight.  Why??? They have 1 usually operated by ATR42 aircraft.  Rodrigues is a tiny island belonging to Mauritius.  Weeks later I was at seaside village shopping centre, here in Bloubergstrand.  The man was delivering stuff there and he recognised me - 1 good thing of being unique you are easily recognisable!
