This Airline flew from JNB (Johannesburg) to London Stansted Airport.  Their 747-300 was leased from South African Airways - never lease your aircraft or compete with South African Airways on their most profitable route (London) or you won't be in operation for long!  The government does not like competition despite having a deregulated airways policy!?!  They got rid of Nationwide too when they started flights to LGW on 767 Aircraft.  (nationwide 737 the pic on top of this Blogsites template)

Frontier Airways - they were featured on undercover boss USA a few months ago, I sent them a message to say I read about them in my Airways mag years ago and am glad to see in this world where airlines close down so frequently because of bad management and stuff, I am glad to see that they are still operational. I got a nice reply from them. Thanks folks at this airline.

I last Flew on an F70 on a flight from Leeds (LBA) to (AMS) airport last year, October.  A 40 min flight brilliant!  The first one (Fokker F70 aircraft I flew as pax on) was a British Midlands (BD) flight from LHR to LBA in 1996 when I went to visit my Aunty Mary (who lives in Leeds).  My flight from JNB to LHR was on a SAA 747-300 (Shosholoza).

This aircraft type really got me interested in the aviation world - I was 10/11 in 1991 when we flew on Comair (MN) , nowadays they are operating as Kulula.com and British Airways operated by Comair, from Joburg (JNB) to Skakuza (SKU) and back, when we went to SABI SABI Game Reserve (my mom, dad and I)
